Webinar | Resiliency and Electric School Buses: Creating Mobile Power Units through V2X Capability
Hosts: SAFE and Electrification Coalition
About: The need for additional power sources to bolster critical infrastructure resilience and reliability will continue to increase over time, due to the expected rise in extreme weather events. Electric school buses (ESBs) with vehicle-to-everything (V2X) technology can serve as emergency mobile power units, representing a new resource for emergency backup power for disaster response, thereby enhancing infrastructure resilience. Join this webinar to understand the steps needed to make this a reality, including what a mutual aid agreement could look like. Attendees will also learn about potential additional funding sources available for school districts and emergency management personnel for this purpose.
