Partnership for Southern Equity's (PSE’s) youth staff at YES! for Equity worked to design an interactive and impactful S’mores Over Smog event to show their community the value of electric school buses (ESBs). Meeting weekly for a month and a half, they led the planning process, shaping key elements like an electric s’mores station, a letter-writing campaign for ESBs, and an ESB tour. They designed the tour experience to educate attendees on the benefits of electrification, engaging youth and community members in hands-on learning about clean transportation solutions.
